This spider was identified as a member of the orb weaver family of spiders by 36 Santa Margarita School students participating in the January 2007 Nature Challenge. Congratulations to 5th grader Lane Wilson (Miss Thomas), winner of the prize drawing. The February challenge is now on display in the school library. Good luck students!
